Day 4

A COURSE IN MIRACLES
Workbook for Students
Lesson 4
These thoughts do not mean anything. They are like the things I see in this room (on this street, from this window, in this place).

Cali had to go out for the duration of my sit today and will have to do this from here on out. Things moved along more smoothly today. Everything - physical exercise, stretching sitting, and reading took about an hour.  This is good. A few moments of settling in at the beginning of my sit is better than an hour of fidgeting although there was still a bit of this throughout the sit. Mostly still "monkey mind" for now.

CATHOLIC SAINT OF THE DAY
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
Mother Seton is one of the keystones of the American Catholic Church. She founded the first American religious community for women, the Sisters of Charity. She opened the first American parish school and established the first American Catholic orphanage. All this she did in the span of 46 years while raising her five children.
